I only ask cause when I was pregnant and not married to my husband I could not be insured by his insurance but the baby would be once born! But at the time his insurance company would insure pets and same sex domestic partners! Is this not reverse discrimination?

An Indian daughter?

As far as people of India are concerned, they know that they shall have to send their daughter to the house of another and then she shall have to spend the remaining part of her life in that house. That house shall not be the house of her own parents. The father present there shall be her father in law, the mother present there shall be her mother in law, the sisters and brothers in law. Only law provides that they shall be her relations, but actually they are different people and they shall be treating her differently and very few of them would be taking her as their own daughter or sister. Therefore, in most of the cases she shall have to live in strangers and therefore, she shall be having more and more challenges in that house. She shall have to adjust herself and shall have to learn love, affection, respect and regard and she would not be getting all these things in charity. Therefore, parents in India must devote more and more time for preparation of their daughter so that she could be in a position to meet all these challenges of life and must not bring complaints to her own parents. Her parents want that she should be adjusted well in that house and must not bring complaints. They want good news from her side. So the daughter too has got many responsibilities and she must try to prepare herself and that preparation work must be done while at the house of her own parents.
Most of the daughters are getting proper education, proper training and some of the parents desire that their daughter must be adjusted in profession, trade, calling of employment so that she may not be dependent upon her in laws. But in all the cases it is not possible. The daughter must be told that it is not necessary that she could be treated as a lord in that house. There are responsibilities that the people in the house of her in laws shall be treating her as their domestic servants and every one in that house shall be demanding service from her. There are possibilities that even her own husband may be functioning in connivance with other members in the family and may be treating her like a servant. She shall have to bear all this and she shall have to upgrade her position through love, affection, regard, respect and service. She must know because fighting would not solve any of her problem. Actually they people have brought her and therefore, she must understand that they want to keep her in that family. They have different background. They have different behaviour and dealing. They have got different kitchen. They have got a different way of living. They have got different likings and dislikings and therefore, it is most necessary that the bribe must be ready to fact all this and must try to adjust in this changed atmosphere. She may be liking to change them. But they are like running horse and therefore, all of sudden the would not stop. She shall have to run with them for some time and only they she can convert them to her own way of living. In most of the cases, she would not be in position to change them and shall have to mix with them and become like them. Slowly and steadily wins the race, must be her motive and she must remain with them and without their notice, she must change them.
She must know that her parents would not like to listen complaints and therefore, she must not come to the house of her parents with complaints. She must bear al these complaints and should not share with her parents because they shall turn sad and frustrated because they are not in a position to solve the problems arising in the house of the in laws of her daughter. Therefore, the bribe must try to solve the problems herself and for that purpose, she must win favours from her own husband. He is the first person who should be tamed. She must start from her husband and once he is with her, she would be in a position to mix with this new family. And it is very easy to win over her husband. She must turn the most beautiful and most modern girl of the time and she must give a good atmosphere to the husband in the night. A good night spent shall give her a good day and this process must continue. The husband must understand that you have come here and are always at the command of her husband and at his service. She must start winning others members only after she has won her husband. She must prepare him to go out and she must wait for him and receive him warmly and must try to bring him at east so that he could forget all the tireness of the day. Only a wife could give him warm welcome and once the husband knows that his wife is waiting for him, he would be punctual in coming back because warm welcome is always waited and is liked by the men on this earth. She must keep her clothes, beds and other usables neat and clean and giving out good attractive outlook. She must prepare his bed like the first night of marriage. She must try to relax him when he is tense mood and she must share his sorrows and pleasures. She must not have doubt on him and must take him as her true life partner. She must be with him and should not think differently. She must agree with huer husband and must obey his commands. She can agitate rarely, because the man on this earth would not like criticism on him. She must avoid criticism. She must try to establish that she has got the wisest man on this earth and she is lucky enough that she could get such a husband. She must take him one of the great people on this earth. She must establish that she is lucky.
Love begets love should be her target and she must try to love her husband and also love for other members in the family. With love and affection she would be able to win over this family and once this family is won over. She would live in Heaven. And therefore, is parents of the daughter must understand all these situations, and they must give the best training available to their daughter. They must not teach her and guide her to teach a lesson to the people in the house of her in laws. They must teach and guide her to adjust herself in that house and bring a good news for them. Fighting and winning is not the right way out. The parents must be having all these things in mind and must prepare their daughter accordingly. Every member in the house must devote time for the preparation of the daughter for the house of others. This is the way of life in Indian and it is necessary evil.

Foreign Education Providers In India
In the fast globalizing world the need for high quality education with international recognition is increasing. With this perspective, many international well known universities / institutions in collaboration with Indian institutions are imparting technical education in India.
The present trend of mushrooming of foreign education providers became an important concern for the country. The present operation of Foreign Education Providers is totally unregulated. These institutions are guided by their own norms; follow their own criteria of quality and course content. In other words, we can say that they are basically guided by the market norms. Therefore, HRD ministry has constituted self regulatory body, AICTE, to govern the technical education with a view to proper planning and coordinated development of education throughout the country. AICTE promotes, develops and regulate the technical education in India to meet the qualitative norms and standards.
Throughout my research on this topic, I have focused on such institutions which are imparting technical education in India but are not registered with AICTE. These institutes are bypassing the laws of the AICTE. I found out three kinds of programmes which they have been offering are as follows:
Foreign degree; Foreign diploma; Foreign university certification.
Indian institutions which are offering foreign degrees with their foreign partners are not registered with AICTE but are registered with UGC. One of the Singapore colleges operating in Chennai is a perfect example for this. This institute has been operating into India for the last five years. I had a talk with one of the admin members of this institute and as per him, AICTE approval is needed only for ‘Engineering’ not for management. Therefore, they did not face any regulatory issues or problem till now.
And institutes which are offering foreign university affiliated diplomas in management are actually offering diploma other than PGDBM. For an example PGDIS which stands for Post Graduate Diploma in International Studies. Like this, there are plenty of examples PGP, PGDCS, PGDIP. Most of the colleges are doing this. Now, I am in a well position to recall the bone of contention which was going on in 2005 when I was pursuing my PGDBM from one of the foreign university affiliated Pune colleges. In 2005, AICTE made it mandatory for all the domestic and international colleges (if imparting technical education in India) to get registered with AICTE for offering diploma in ‘Business Management’. Since than, many colleges started offering diplomas by using different wordings other than ‘Business Management’.
Institutes which are offering foreign university certification in ‘Post Graduate Management’ have a valid point not to get registered with AICTE. They say that they are neither offering degree nor diploma so there is no requirement to get registered with AICTE & UGC.
After talking to many concerned person of some of the well known colleges, I found that these colleges are not taking initiatives to get registered with AICTE due to cumbersome registration process, their course structure, fees restrictions (they are saying when they are providing best education then why should they not charge high fees), limited availability of seats and some unnecessary infrastructural issues.
Now, time has come when students should keep on remembering the principle of buying ‘Buyer Beware’. They should conduct well planned need based assessment before taking admission in any of the colleges.

Kenya’s economy grew 2.1% in the third quarter, down significantly from the 6.3% gross domestic product growth it posted a year earlier. On top of the global financial crisis, Kenya suffered from post-election violence and a severe drought, Bloomberg reported.

As its quarterly profits missed estimates, drugstore operator Walgreen Co. (WAG) said it is cutting back on plans to open more stores. Profit fell to $408 million, or 41 cents a share, in its fiscal first quarter ended Nov. 30, Reuters reported.
Palm, Inc. (PALM) yesterday (Monday) secured a much needed $100 million equity investment from Elevation Partners, a venture capital firm that includes Bono, lead singer for the rock band U2, BetaNews reported. Palm a maker of mobile electronic devices, will use the money to help launch a smartphone that will be compete with Apple’s 3G iPhone.
UBS AG (UBS) will sell its Canadian energy operations and global agriculture business to JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM), Reuters reported. JPMorgan is buying Canadian Energy, UBS’ Canadian-based commodities energy business, as well as UBS’ London-based Global Agricultural Commodities business.
Light, sweet crude for February delivery fell $2.45, nearly 6%, on the New York Mercantile Exchange yesterday (Monday) to settle at $39.91 a barrel. Crude prices have now fallen 70% from their July peak of $147.47 a barrel.

As a banking professional I coach people how to replace six figure income with six figure residual in network marketing using a five step plan and a very simple business model. Now I define success and freedom in a new way. I dreamline my future. I am working less – much less and earning more. As a professional, successful in another career, I am now a part of the fast growing network marketing industry. I spent years climbing someone else’s ladder of success – now I am climbing my own ladder.
So why did I already successful in an advanced career with realized personal and professional success leave the corporate world to become a network marketer? What was it about this amazing opportunity that made me want to leave the familiar path I knew and begin traveling in a new direction?
I believe there are several factors about network marketing that captured my attention and imagination then made me a committed member of my organization.
As a banker I had spent my career helping people. I liked the thought of helping people grow strong financially. I felt I was partnering with them in their quest for success and directed them to the best of my ability. I feel as though financial worries are a great source of stress in peoples lives. During the banking years I guided people away from network marketing because I did not see how they could make it work. I spend my time and my new-found energy these days helping others understand the value of building a business with a leveraged income source. There are basically four ways to earn: a job pay stops when you do, own a conventional business high risk, long hours, and high failure rate, investment good way but we need money to invest and most people do not have extra income (I teach it as a secondary source after network marketing income begins to flow.),or building a legacy with life long freedom enjoying the benefits of residual income.
Personally this journey has provided independence I work my own hours, making my own schedule. This gives me the personal freedom to spend in areas of my life that I choose. As I write this, my husband and I are on an Alaska cruise with our six grandchildren. Without the income I have been able to generate we could not have enjoyed these special times, building lifelong memories for them and for us.
I derive satisfaction from my association with a company that recognizes the importance of contributing to our global community. I treasure my ability to partner with others to help those in need. People working together truly can change the world.
Enriching also to me is our increased personal capacity to give back. God has richly blessed my husband and me and we have a deep desire to share resources within our community helping to build it strong. We had given some land for a new YMCA. Feasibility studies said concluded we could only raise about 4 million but we raised about 8.2 million which was shy of goal to be able to keep construction of the child care center in the proposed plan. My network marketing earnings allowed us to contribute an extra 100k toward the project and we were able to complete the center. Before we opened we were at capacity with 90 children and we have a growing waiting list. We were also able to give a lead gift of the needed amount for a down payment on a building for a womens resources in an adjacent community. This allowed them the ability to provide educational programs and safe homes for victims of domestic violence. We have been able to give beyond tithing, often with matching pledges to encourage others to give as well.
I live now more and more in a state of gratitude and love and my life is enhanced every time I have an opportunity to mentor and teach. We all like to feel that we carry valuable knowledge and experience that we can pass along to others. We respect the teacher, aspire to become the teacher. Being a network marketing distributor is precisely that. As part of a team of network marketers, I dont have to worry about competing with someone for my financial future and employment security. I am my competition. I am the only one challenging me to excel. Like the great game of baseball, we know it as well as network marketing requires teams made up of many players of different skills and talents, all working towards the same goal of a championship. Each of us have our skills and talents and we all have the opportunity for abundance, the opportunity to achieve greatness, to hit those home runs and be stars, to be recognized for what those talents and skills allow us to accomplish. And we do best; we achieve most, when the players work together as part of a strong team.
So here we stand in today with network marketing growing exponentially throughout the world. We are joined each and every day by those who want something more for themselves and their families. They want something more for their communities. And while we may each have started our lives heading down different paths, we now walk the same path, sharing the same hopes and wishes – a desire for personal success and security. American writer Henry David Thoreau once wrote that If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost&Now put foundations under them. That foundation strong and secure is my network marketing business, and I am proud to be a part of it.
